Mesa is one of the fastest growing cities of the United States. It is 37th largest city in U.S. Although it has a large population, Mesa is a "bedroom community." Neighborhoods across the city are diverse.
Situated to the West of Mesa, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the major air hub for all of Arizona and the Southwest United States. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, situated in southeast Mesa, offers flights to 14 destinations in United States.
The Valley Metro Light Rail runs through Mesa, connecting to Tempe and Downtown Phoenix. From Sky Harbor Airport, you can take the free shuttle to the light rail station.
There are many things to see in Mesa. Mesa Arts Center located in downtown Mesa, is the largest arts center in Arizona. Mesa Mormon Temple is located just east of downtown and is notable for being third largest Mormon temple outside of Salt Lake City. |
